About the Generic Silver Bars

Generic silver bars are .999 fine (or finer) silver poured or pressed into a rectangular shape, struck by a private mint rather than a sovereign one. "Generic" on this site means we are not pinning the listing to a single brand. The dealer ships you whatever bar they have in stock at that weight, often a mix of refiners like Asahi, Sunshine, Republic Metals, Geiger, or Royal Canadian Mint bars sold under generic SKUs.

The core appeal is premium. Sovereign coins like the American Silver Eagle carry a brand and legal-tender premium that can run several dollars per ounce above spot. A generic 10 oz or 100 oz bar typically prices much closer to the silver melt value, which is why stackers focused on weight gravitate to bars.

Weights on this site range from 1 gram up to 100 oz. The smaller bars (1g, 5g, 10g) are fractional, useful for gifts or barter scenarios but carrying the highest premium per ounce because the manufacturing cost is fixed.
